John Herrity

Dr. Herrity has been caring for pets in Northern Virginia for over 30 years. He enjoys the diversity of veterinary medicine with a focus on ultrasound, internal medicine, and surgery. Over the years he has expanded his practice of medicine to include alternative and holistic therapies, including stem cell therapy, Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation, and cold laser therapy, and Bicom bioresonance therapy. He is continually exploring new and exciting ways to identify our pets’ health issues and determine the best treatments to meet their needs.

In order to achieve his dream of working with animals, Dr. Herrity attended Virginia Tech and graduated with honors from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Herrity and his wife, Michelle, have two sons, Bryan and Patrick, and two daughters, Kelsey and Jessica. A Labradoodle named Bradley and a yellow lab named Merlin complete their family. Read a little more about Dr. Herrity in the February 2014 issue of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine newsletter.
