Emily is a Senior at GMU majoring in biology with a future plan of becoming a physician assistant. Even though Emily wants a future in human medicine, she has always loved animals. She grew up horseback riding and lived in a household full of pets, including guinea pigs, cats, and dogs. Emily started working at Burke Animal Clinic in 2017, and her love for animals shows through her compassion and thoughtful actions towards patients and clients. Her favorite part of the job is building trusting and positive relationships with patients and clients, creating a feeling of ease. In her free time, Emily likes to go hiking with her rescue pitbull Sully, play with her diva-like cat Tomato and spend time with friends and family.
