COVID Protocol UPDATE

Burke Animal Clinic is still operating with COVID protocol in place.

Update June 2021:

Dear Clients:

The Doctors at Burke Animal Clinic have decided, effective Monday, July 5, 2021, one vaccinated adult may accompany their pet inside the clinic for doctor appointments. Please call the clinic when you arrive, and as soon as a doctor is available, a staff member will escort you inside. Masks are required, and at this time, no seating will be available in the waiting area. Once your visit is over, you will be escorted to the front for checkout, or you may proceed to your car where a receptionist will call you to transact payment. The one exception is euthanasia, when three family members are allowed to grieve together.

Additionally, surgery check-ins and discharges, tech appointments, prescription pickups, specimen drop-offs, and all other service requests will continue to be done at curbside. Just call us when you arrive.

If you prefer, curbside service will still be available for those of you who feel more comfortable not entering the clinic.

Many of you are concerned about your pets being in the building without you. Let us assure you that they are in good hands. As a matter of fact, most of our patients are calmer than usual because the building is not crowded, and they are less stimulated by the sights, sounds, and smells that would normally cause them anxiety.

Our incredible staff is working tirelessly on the frontline to help you and your pet. We appreciate your understanding in doing everything possible to protect our staff and their loved ones.
