Dr. Angela Bakanas

Dr. Angela Bakanas grew up in Chicago and earned both her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has been practicing in Northern Virginia since 2000. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery and internal medicine cases.

Dr. Bakanas and her husband have two daughters, two cats, two horses, and one dog. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, reading, and baking.
